Lee, the only problem with the "cook the books" account of yesterday is that the bond market has been the leader, not the government. We've had "good reports" that the pits ignored. I think THEY think is for real, and that made the difference. BWDIK

I think the rally is more based on the change in perception in the market.....market now believes the Fed isn't behind the curve on inflation....market also apparently sees the same anti-growth effects coming from the bond market....the explosive pace of technological advances in all areas is just amazing....until that rate of discovery either slows down or largely moves into areas that don't produce goods and services, we will continue to see the companies who profitably use the advances and who profitably implement the technology grow in value faster than the rest.
