Also, someone said that Charter needed to raise an additional 9 billion after the IPO.......the estimated amount at this time is only 0.7 billion...(did I say ONLY 0.7 billion?).

Actually, it is more like 1.8 billion. Charter had entered into agreements to acquire the assets of other cable operators for 9.9 billion. The proceeds of the IPO and Mr Allen's equity contributions will not pay for all their acquisitions. They will raise 0.7 billion by issuing convertible debt, convertible preferred or other equit securities of charter and approx. 1.1 billion under credit facilities at avalon and bresnan.

Sarkie, I got bogged down with phone calls and never had the chance. Will do so first thing this morning.
Lunch was very nice, all business, and I have a much better handle on things. Before I was flopping around, with no one to help with the overall picture. Now I do. Plus, I can do my own online trading.
