Hi Eric- I see the final trade last evening (Thurs.) was at 38, so ATHM did move up in after hour's action. Maybe today will be the day the "big boys" can't hold it down any longer.

Speaking of big boys...200 shares of my ATHM will soon be transferred to my church as a portion of my "first fruits." I had hoped it wouldn't be at my cost basis of $35 a share...but instead somewhere around $60 or $70. If things don't move up, I will forget the transfer and just sell outright. Hey...maybe the "biggest boy of all" can give this stock a lift for us.:0)

Futures look good this A.M. It could be another solid day for the market. Thank goodness I'm heavily weighted in mutuals and not ATHM.

Have a good day, All! If you own ATHM stock, don't you dare let a black cat cross your path, walk under a ladder, or do anything to jinx this stock! We need all the "good" luck we can get!:0)

Eric;
Glad to see someone else confirm the last couple of days tape action. Can't imagine any mm selling short at this level when we were at 49 ten days ago... Can't come up with a good reason why any mm would sit on the ask unless he was net short on the stock - but why at 37 instead of 49?

Hopefully this am's gap up will hold for the day-unlike yesterday's performance. I'd like to get out of the cellar (in the 30's) and stay there. <grin>

<<Sellers have been unusually agressive and showing the "feel" of MM activity (sitting on the ask absorbing buyers while keeping the order size fixed). They just sit there absorbing the buying and weigh down the stock. ATHM was always good for a 3/4 point bounce, but not any longer. The only reason I can think of for any seller to refuse to let the stock bounce into buying is to break the spirit of the buyers.>>
