Re: trying to feed pieces of bread to the pigeons...

Carl,

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I've never been bothered by Paul's sometimes nasty and childish posts (well, almost never) because I don't think they're malicious (as opposed to Yousef's posts). I think Paul honestly feels that he is doing everyone a big favor by sharing his insights and a little inside information - and there have been numerous cases where that's been the case.

But he does seem to pretty much lose it if anyone disagrees with him. He gets very upset if "his children" disobey or, even worse, dare to talk back. He can't seem to accept that these forums are designed to be "peer group" discussions - however unfair that equal treatment may be to some of our more august members like him. (and yourself - except you don't seem to mind being part of "the group").

Regards,

Dan

Re: "When I get old, I'm going to retire in a place where I can play chess with the other oldsters, and watch the world go on about me. I certainly won't be spending my golden years typing on a terminal for the benefit of people who really don't want to hear my stories from a golden age."

That's what you think now. Time has a way of changing things.

Best wishes,

I2

You are wasting your time to reason with pAUL. He kept making notes about AMD's lost quarter after year but yet, he claimed he is a share holder. It isn't like he bought the stock long ago and got stuck. He keep buying and selling. Does this make sense? He is not in retirement. He is probably a paid PR for Intel.
