<<"In our view it's crazy to get off this train heading into
the holiday shopping season," said Jamie Kiggen of Donaldson,
Lufkin & Jenrette. "Do you really want to bet against Amazon as
they make a massive bet on a huge Q4? We don't.">>
Glenn, did Jamie ever return your call? <vbg>
Do you remember Lise Buyer? She too remains bullish and is still counting the faithful.

<<The increase in unexpected expenses quarter-to-quarter worried Lise Buyer, director of Internet/new media research at Credit Suisse First Boston in Palo Alto, Calif. "Why are the spending numbers increasing so dramatically?" she said. "This is becoming a pattern, and one the market won't support."

Despite these concerns, Buyer is still bullish on Amazon.com. "Long-term investors should just sit tight," she said. "This company is spending money to be the really dominant (online) retailer.">>

Glenn, did you know that if you had bought 1000 shares of Aol at the IPO that would be worth $8mil today?
William probably is the only one here that got in on the Aol ipo, but I might be one of the few that got Msft pre-ipo shares.
My ex-wife and my 2 daughters will always love me for that.
Ps
Do you know what EELN (x3) means?

OT - Any Schwab fans? I think they just crashed - or they're maxed out because they're so busy. I get 'server error' when I try to login. And I've been thinking about trading out of some of these wild high flyers, to get a more stable stock like SCH. And I still might.
If they're maxed, that's a good sign - in a way.
