Europe Precious Metals Review: Gold rallies, hovers around $300
London--Oct 28--Gold rallied overnight following producer buy-backs which
took prices up from under US $290 per ounce, with the market hovering at around
$300 in morning trade in London. Trade sources said further volatility was
expected as gold seeks direction, with spot prices likely to trade around
$295-305 in the near term. Silver saw little movement, with trade thin. (Story

Homestake: Current gold price makes flagship mine more viable
New York--Oct 27--Currently higher gold prices make Homestake Mining Corp.'s
flagship Homestake mine in South Dakota more viable than it was several months
ago, said Walter Segsworth, the company's president and chief operating officer.
However, Homestake will be closely examining a study on the mine's performance

I am not paying attention to day to day.. nor am I paying attention to any of that hedging bull.. I assume that hedges are insurance policies and unless the producer outdid itself..if policies change they can cover quickly
check the boe site for date..use a search engine to find its url
