Friday October 29, 12:11 am Eastern Time Patterson Energy files $150 mln offering WASHINGTON, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Patterson Energy Inc., which provides domestic land drilling services to major and independent oil and natural gas companies, filed on Thursday to sell from time to time up to $150 million in debt securities, common and preferred stock, warrants and depositary shares. Net proceeds will be used for future acquisitions and other general corporate purposes, including working capital, investments in subsidiaries and payment of existing debt, the Snyder, Texas-based company said in a shelf registration filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Patterson shares fell 9/16 to close at 14-1/8 on Nasdaq.
