The new focus Intel talked of yesterday indicates huge potential revenues for AWRE. And with everything from the telephone to the auto to the fridge will have an 'Net connection. I've even heard there will be a connection in the bathroom so that one may read while on the throne. Alarm clocks will be able to wake you with your email, news & weather. One heck of a bunch more DSL chips will be required than I first thought.

Bill or any DSL expert,

If in fact you are Mr. DSL, I have a question for you. In my particular geographic situation, the local phone carrier is telling me that I am just outside the distance for DSL (16,500 - 18,000). They told me that they are working on "booster" technology that will enable me to receive service in the next 1/2 year. Can you tell me who is behind this technology. Furthermore, can you name some other companies that are behind the initiative to expand the local loop? As I am of the opinion that DSL will beat cable, I think these "booster" companies are the ones who will be the real winners. I am hoping that Aware is one of the companies you name.

Thanks,

Vic
