I believe we were discussing violent crime in schools. Here is my argument: 1) The only two solutions I have heard pertain to gun control or having students be more accepting of others (outcastes.) 2) It is possible to limit or eliminate access to guns. 3) You cannot make all students accept and be nice to each other. It simply won't work. Dominance heirarchies are biological imperatives, thus there will always be an "in" and "out" group. 4) Ergo, it is better to try more gun control than to alter student society to eliminate school violence. I hope that is more clear.
