Jenna, I enjoyed your post and I am also trying to figure out these moves at the open when a stock gaps up. I was looking at FFIV the other day and I am now starting to realize that it has to do with the market performance and how many other stocks had great earnings that day. FFIV was certainly the headline stock that day and even when it gapped up 15 points, it had a short 20 point run then sold off from 125 to 120. Now most traders would have given up on it but then it trend up and started to run until peaking at 145.

I think that run had alot to do with a day where there wasn't alot to buy ands traders focused on it. I just wanted to know what you thought about it.

Astonishing post, Jenna. Thank you, from all of us, I'm sure.

I know you are planning seminars. Are you also writing a book?

I also must thank this thread for alerting me to isld and jnic. No more needs to be said about isld, but jnic's great story is just beginning....

Rob (lurking and richer for it) :)
