If you get a chance, take a look at the Nov.1 Business Week e.biz issue (it is contained as an insert in their regular magazine). The article that caught my eye was entitled "What's With All the WAREHOUSES?" E-tailers see they'll need bricks and mortars, too. Now, if this isn't a potential market opportunity for ASI's products, then I don't know what is. They need to be efficient, leverage their own data collection sources, and above all - reduce their costs. ASI can help them do all of that!

Well, exactly! AMZN is building warehouses like crazy. Staff need to run those warehouses. That sounds more likely to me than EBAY, which is mostly running servers (and not always very well <g>). FWIW, which of course may not be very much. Wonder if at some point they'll be allowed to announce who this mysterious e-whiz is?

Good point re. WAREHOUSE requirements for goods being sold over the net - one often overlooked when we hear about E-commerce retailing. Labor is required to physically manage the distribution side of the business ... As was stated in the press release, "The early acceptance of this newly released product confirms our belief that LABORVIEW.com is the right product to address various industry needs to manage enterprise-wide personnel, productivity and costs."
