Jon could you give us the link for those figures.... The thing I find so funny about this earnings game is that if GNET made 20 great investments like they did with commtouch making over 150% on their money in a few months well then all that interest earnings would not be there and GNET would probably gone down 10 points today . If GNET continues to invest in companies in this way that might ultimately make earnings look bad...I imagine this is why it is better to have deals in which the company is bought outright or in which earnings are shared instead of just owning the stock. Why does the street react to earning so much more than good investments?....if the recent runup in commtouch stock value to GNET were factored in then gnet considering a 10 million investment now worth some 25 mil we would then be looking at 15 million more in gross gains this quarter. From what I can see this gain is by far the best thing GNET did this quarter but yet the stock price did nothing in response to it.
