I just thought of something funny..I think many on the gold monitor thread,or at least I, thought the bull market wouldn't have continued as long as it has, but at least some of the gold producers were smart enough to think it might :-)

SOMEONE has to accept the risk of falling metal prices. The rightful carrier of that risk is the Mining Company and its shareholders.

One quotation sticks in my mind; way back before Dome Mines combined with (can't remember the name now; long before it combined with Placer), the president was asked to comment on low metal prices. He replied "Don't ask me ! We're just a mining company. Our job is to mine, and we will keep on doing that efficiently as long as we are able." A GREAT attitude.
