I smell something is up with this stock>>>
You probably smell the $h!t that is coming from desperate YAHOO investors that have nothing better to do than to talk about takeover rumors. Really, now. Who would want to buy WMI with all the problems they are having right now? And if there was any possibility that WMI was in play, why would PUT option volume be so high?
I noticed this from yesterday.......................
Among options trade, Waste Management puts traded heavily as the stock closed up 1/2 at 17 3/4. Total put trade was 17,997 contracts, with Jan 45, 55 and 35 strikes featured. Previous put open interest was 35,532. At-the-money implied volatility for Nov calls was 62%, the highest point since October 1998.

I mean stranger things have happened, but IMO, WMI needs to clean up its act first (no pun intended), before we can start talking takeover.
