Churchill - built the railways and roads not for the benefit of Indians, but for rapid deployment of troops. The question was -- what progress did you make on those fronts after the British left? Not what the motivations of the British were. Don?t tell us about roads, bathtubs, city layout etc. We laid out all those things in ancient India... In ancient India , justice system was pretty good.. So all you folks have to do is to build a time-machine now, eh?!<g> Btw, any comments on the article that I referred to in Message 11749173
