fairly simple explanation...you've got nothing but small orders on the sell side, so there aren't enough shares sitting around for blocks on the buy side. i doubt anyone is keeping much of an inventory going into the last 10 minutes of the weekend--which also happens to be the last day of many mutual funds' year-end. so, basically, there's not enough supply for large orders. make sense?
