Uncle, i heard that there is a big celebration going on at rambus this afternoon. can anyone drive by and have a look? I drove by at 3:20PM and 4:00PM. I was either late or early to the party -- there's a large white tent up at the end of the Rambus parking lot but there's nothing else there -- no chairs, food setups, et cetera. The parking lot was otherwise empty, so I'd guess that I missed the party and everyone went home early. The front doors were wide open, however, and I could see the receptionist sitting inside. The party could have been for any number of things, like the end of the fiscal year or Halloween, but hopefully it was for the beginning of shipments of the 840 and impending shipment of the 820. Dave <edit: I just called Rambus just to see if they'd tell me what the party was for. The guy who answered asked me who I was, then said "Oh, well... you see we've filled up all our office space in this building and so now when we want to have company meetings, we have to have them in the parking lot. We do them about once per month." I have a feeling my leg was getting pulled <G>. Whoever you were, if your reading this, ha-ha!!>
