<Simple.

Everyone using high end x86s from Intel today will be using even MORE HIGHER END CPUs from Intel next year.

Intel - despite its recent delays - has a long history of delivering high quality products in enormous volumes.

Does AMD have this reputation ?>

Intel has better reputation than AMD. Unfortunately for Intel, they don't have the right products to go with the reputation.

AMD has and will have better product for the next several quarters.

Where it stands AMD has nothing to lose in the high-end segement. The question is "how much will they gain?"

Paul, how much are you paid by Intel to act as a stooge on this thread?
