Absolutely, we should all be able to give our opinion and it would be nice to be able to do it and be given a fair hearing by the others on the board. And I think it is good manners to give a "hear, hear!" to someone who is right, and to give those who were wrong some time to admit it. If they say, "I was wrong but you're still a moron," that's a bad thing.

What actually happens is that the person who is consistently wrong first starts to attack others, and than later on starts to blame the market, pounds on the insanity of the valuations, switches to some form of ta instead of fa, and finally blames Greenspan and develops some interesting conspiracy theories. I have seen this process drag out for up to 2 years before the poster vanishes, or changes names.
