MSFT Pack - Good Investment + Linux Buster MSFT made a good investment in for about 1% of AKAM. All the big gorillas invest in startups that have significant potential. Also AKAM uses LINUX on all of its servers. MSFT wants to stick its OS on a hot property.I feel these are the major reasons. AKAM doesn't have a major technological advantage than any other company with MSFT and CSCO. However, as a result of the IPO have lots of money. The CNNFN links claims about $1 billion. That buys a lot of servers and data centers. So AKAM is by default the BIG gorilla of content delivery. cnnfn.com Like most would like to get in but at $145, too rich for my blood. Till next week
