First.. I have tried to point out that I am not denying that Jesus is a ROCK. He is "MY ROCK" in these verses: Psalms 28:1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; Psalms 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. I don't know if you saw what I spoke concerning leaven ? I would say however that the verse you just quoted - I made reference to in one of the answers I sent to Paul. Can you please go and see those posts and then tell me when you have done. In this verse Hearing Jesus sayings with the hearing ear is LIKE building on rock. please see if you can find those messages because I talked about the use of the word "rock" and the use of the word "leaven" in them. Then get back to me if you still think I am missing something :-}

Nancy.. let me ask you this.. I have thought a lot about the verse you quoted.. Math 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Do you not think that the "works" these people were doing would likely land them behind a pulpit somewhere? Casting out demons in Jesus name...Prophecies in Jesus name.. Wonderous works in the name of Jesus.... They sound to me like the average pentecostal minister of today... ===================================================================== The next thing Jesus says is I never knew you: Oh no worse words can anyone ever ever hear !!! For they can lead no where but to Depart from me into everlasting Torment This Jesus.. who said : Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. This all knowing God who know how many hairs are on your head today Yesterday and throughout you entire life. This TRUE and GREAT GOD who knows exactly where every atom and molecule that He ever created is was and will be at any given moment in all time. Says to them... "I never KNEW you " Adam KNEW Eve ... Jesus KNOWS those that are His.. yea His Bride ! Some people may think that Jesus did not even know they existed. How can men serve such idols ? Did these men not know the routine... Confess your need ... Accept Jesus... Blah Blah .. Know the routine.. they likely put people through that routine themselves.. casting out the demons and calling them to "accept" Jesus as their "Personal Saviour" Teaching them That Jesus did away with His Law at the Cross... only to hear this... Ye who work iniquity Who then can be saved : Math 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. How few really know this verse : Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: How thankful then should a saved man be God grant us thanks to thee.
