CC, The Jews were forced out by the Romans and after almost being wiped off the face of the earth by the Holocaust they decided they had to have a home to survive. If you have read about the 70AD disaster you can see that the Jews did not leave their land by choice. In Israel the Jews I know are willing to co exist with the people there it is the people that refuse to say they refuse to accept that the Jews have a right to exist. Even Clinton rebuked them for their attitudes towards the Jews. Did you know that there are Arabs in the Knesset and that Israel is a democratic State that allows Church's, Mosques and whatever to exist and allow people to worship there. It has been a painful pursuit to exist. Recently they found some of Oscar Schindlers letters in a friends house. He shares the very high level of Anti-Semitism after the war and that he was treated badly for helping the Jews and his prediction was that it will happen again for the hate was too strong.
