Why in heaven's name would you write a check if you feel that way about the church? I'd go somewhere where they appreciated me and my money. Where they let me do work whether they liked me or not. that's a little strange. Most churches are great places to volunteer-- they always need people.

Huh??

Instead of sending the church a check maybe find a local charity....someplace that will appreciate you. There are plenty of do good people trying to do good on very limited funds.

A talented guy like you would be appreciated at many a volunteer project...fixing up old homes for senior (stuff like that).

Just a thought.
