Did anybody notice that Dell removed CuVaporMine 733 from their website? It was in there at launch and now it is gone. The demand must be really strong <GGG>. Youseless

Mega-chat site Silicon Investor was one of the best early investment Websites, but its emphasis on discussion boards and dearth of companion tools and research data kept it off our list. No more. Silicon Investor has bulked up to the point where it lands in the tenth slot. Everybody talks about the market these days, and Silicon Investor is host to a goodly portion of these conversations. Silicon Investor doesn't offer the depth and breadth of market information and analysis that some of its competitors do, but it's more than respectable for a site that just started out as a coupla investors sitting around talking. You can launch directly out of your portfolio to see news, charts and related discussion threads. Company profiles, SEC filings, past and present financials et al. are served up free, and broker research is provided by Multex (some free, some paid). Besides the numerous opinions you'll find in message groups, Silicon Investor posts market insight articles of its own. The site recently added free e-mail and personal calendar features. How tight is the competition among these sites? For a clue, look at the closeness of the scores in our Top 10. And it's also apparent that those that just missed that cut did so by only an eyelash. So don't ignore these runners-up.
