I think what we saw today, after the earnings report yesterday, was the short term traders who, holding in hopes of a good report, waited awhile but then exited, probably at a loss, after seeing that no one was waiting to buy their shares at any higher prices. The earnings report, while not disappointing, did not show the spectacular revenues growth that many investors are used to in the tech sector (for instance EWBX reported 800% increase in top line growth just yesterday). This ball game appears to be one in which victory will come only after an accumulation of singles, not from just one home run.
