Elmer, SpecINT95 for coppermine (the benchmarks intel published) use prefetching in the compiler too.. so they are not directly comparable to other benchmarks.. Steve

Elmer - RE: "CuMine - Holder of the fastest SPECint95 score ever published." This 21264A 700MHz Alpha scores 39.1 in SPECint95 and 34.7 on SPECint_base95. Are the CU-Never-Mind scores at Intel's website SPECint or SPECint_base scores? If the former, the Alpha is faster. spec.org And you said "published". The Intel 733 scores are NOT published at the SPEC website.

Re: "CuMine - Holder of the fastest SPECint95 score ever published." When the hardware that generated the score becomes available, maybe people will care. In the mean time, companies like Dell are dropping product from their web site. The vapor benchmarks on the slick new compiler didn't do Intel too much good, did they? In any case, the Kryotech machine handily beats the CuVAPORmine rather handily in spec. Day 6 of the STEALTH launch and still no CuINTHE21STCENTURYmines on Pricewatch!!! Kevin
