Hey Dipy: Message 11753240 Bureaucrats are the real guys that run (or ruin) the system. They are the ones who are supposed to interpret the rules, enforce the laws and interact with the people. Ministers come and go, and change with almost every election. Why does your country's system remain as rotten as ever (and get even more rotten as time passes) even if the electorate keeps changing governments at a rapid-fire rate? It is the bureaucrats, stupid. You angry again, There was no rancor on my part when I posted to you. Bureaucracy without a manager is like a headless chicken. Your observation is a bum argument. It looks, from your answer that you were a bureaucrat in some office, where you were in the lowest rung of the ladder. People were stepping on you to get to the next rung above you. It is possible that your boss made you think that you were making the decisions. It ain't so? Tell me so or otherwise. You claimed to have stayed in India for a better part of ten yrs and you don't know your IDDLY. That is like saying that I don't know my Pizza. Since you did not answer the IDDLY question, I have to assume that you are not used to multiple choice questions and answers. Or is it too difficult? Every bureaucrat thinks that he is the essential part of the system. Man, he is disposable and not indispensable. You can get dime a dozen bureaucrats. Why do you think they are paid COOLY wages.
