What you said here about Q's fundamentals is absolutely correct. I own a huge position in Q. This testifies my faith in it. However, I am just curious about the theory of Stop Loss orders and whether it has caused the type of stock movement like we saw today. It's an academic discussion and nothing to do with Q's fundamentals.

Marginmike, I am an infrequent poster to this board but I lurk faithfully. I got into Q on the original IPO with a 2000 share position. Can you beat that??? Got out in a week with a nice $14,000 profit. Got back in again a year later. Now proud owner of 10,000 plus shares and none purchased greater than $54.00 pre-split. Very close to Q from a supplier standpoint and according to others very stupid to have over 80% of my SEP/IRA invested in Q. But, thanks to Q I will retire in 2 months and isn't life good.
