it sounds great to me...ibm said they will produce rdram...can we not assume ibm is in production of rdram now.
i like this too because ibm has awesome testing facilities. i expect them to get it right.

These are only the slow parts though, not as fast as PC100. I wonder how much it will cost for rambus that is competitive in performance?

64MB 600MHz ECC 4D RDRAM RIMM Memory $440.22

256MB 600MHz ECC 16D RDRAM RIMM Memory $1,521.74

Still, this is less than double what IBM charges for
64MB 100MHz ECC SDRAM DIMM Memory $219.00
128MB 100MHz ECC SDRAM DIMM Memory $469.00
256MB 133MHz ECC SDRAM RDIMM Memory $826.09

so it's no worse than expected.
