Not only credibility, it should be good for a 20 per cent jump in the stock price, I owned AOL when it replaced Venator (Woolworth) on the 500, the stock went up 20% in two days, and went on a tear thereafterand the stock split in 2 weeks.

Citrix to replace Mobil on S&P 500 Index
NEW YORK, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's said Friday that Citrix Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:CTXS - news) will replace Mobil Corp. (NYSE:MOB - news) in the S&P 500 Index.

Citrix Systems, a supplier of system software for server-based computing, replaces the petroleum CO. that is being acquired by Exxon Corp. (NYSE:XON - news), an S&P 500 component.
