All I can tell you John and I have not said this before, I had an opportunity in my past career to spend one Month in one of largest and busiest Financial centers in this country with some people that were very informative. It is not that I was stunned, it is just that it confirmed some of the things I had suspected. Today was a good example when the Houses DO NOT control the Markets, their control techniques only work when there is no severe upside pressure and no severe down side pressure. The only other situation in which you will see powerful control is when a CRISIS is about to cost all the Houses Billions and billions of Dollars. I mentioned this in another post when the Asian Crisis was drawing to a close and the boys in New York were pitted against the boys in Chicago. If some remember in the last 15 minutes the DOW went from over 300 down to 110 up. The only way it was pulled off was with Fidelity's assistance to the Houses.

I spent over 30 years in Catastrophic Salvage and Restoration. In other words there are very few catastrophic losses that have occurred in the last thirty years that I was not personally involved in. I have probably had a first hand glance at the operations of most of the Fortune 500 companies. From selling everything out of the MGM Hotel in 1980 after the fire, ( spent 5 months in Vegas without coming home) to cleaning the Class 10 Clean rooms at Raytheon while they where manufacturing the patriot Missile. One of only a few people to ever see the Archives at Coca Cola. worked 3,000 people a day in cleaning up the World Trade Center, a space of over 220 Acres of Buildings and contents., equal to over three thousand average sized houses in a time frame of three weeks. Consultant on Valdez oil spill to power Plant clean ups in Israel etc., etc. as a result of Fires and other damage have seen the insides of all exchanges.
