Well it goes like this Sam, we wrote the treaties, had them sign, and then tucked them away quietly on Reserves. Not content with that we then thought we could make good Christians out of them and in the process raped and tortured them. Officers of our Courts introduced them to the contingency fee agreement so they like other citizens could seek redress from their keepers. They have done everything by the book, the book we wrote. I don't blame them one bit.

I hope they get at least half of any diamond found on their land. 5 tonne for WSP 5 tonne for the Natives - with the provision that you have to pay all costs of development, employ a native work force, cut the diamond in the NWT and return the land to a pristine state. A Randy Turner school of Diamond Exploration (at his expense) should also be built and future generations of diamond explorers can be educated there. A grand tribute to a big man.
