To Paul Sachs' post Paul, Thanks for the kind words. They ARE appreciated. I also agree with you (my other post notwithstanding) that this is ALSO a good forum for some technical discussion. I like to provide what I can under those auspices, and leave the numbers to those much wiser than I on this (and other) board. I think that the jury is still out on the Sanbox. The early data sheets do indeed indicate that Ancor has fixed some of the issues that existed in their MK-II line. It would have been nice to see them support FC_SW especially after indicating it was "under development" on the MK-II data sheets. But they list having some features that should make it more competitive. I've kind of learned in this market it is VERY important to test the manufacturer claims, and I will be very interested to see the new Sanbox switch tested outside Ancor. However the product isn't GA yet, and it's going to take some time to get a good look at one. Maybe if I showed up at Eden Prairie and signed in on the Ancor visitor's log as FC_Fan they would let me test the fabric versions of the Sanbox in their lab... naaahhhh... I didn't think so.. I like your take on hoping that the ENTIRE sector move upwards, BRCD included. Spoke like a true educated investor. My favorites so far include all of the HBA companies, EMLX, QLGC, and JNIC. CRDS, and I think Finisar will be good too. (Pretty unique in building the test tools for FC. So they should have a decent upside to them, maybe not as big as the mainstream players, but the entire market should move them forward well..) I obviously also think that holding BRCD is money in the bank.. But then again I'm a technologist NOT an investor.. So my picks are based on technology aspects ONLY..
