Looks like Cisco made it through the September-October gauntlet in good shape. November is statistically the best month for equities.

DJ Australia's Open Telecom Seeks To Raise A$20M Via IPO

SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Open Telecommunications Ltd., an Australian telecommunications company, is seeking to raise A$20 million via an initial public offering of shares on the Australian stock exchange, it said Monday.

After the completion of the offering of 20 million shares at A$1 each, the total company will be valued at A$110 million, Open Telecommunications said in a statement.

The public offering equates to 18.1% of the company. Original shareholder Telinvest Pty. Ltd. will hold 63.6%, Consolidated Press Holdings Ltd. will have 7.9%, Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) will have 7.6% and development capitalist will hold the remaining 2.8%.

Open Telecommunications Managing Director Wayne Passlow said in a statement the cash raised will help the company grow in Australia and internationally through strategic acquisitions.

The share offer opens Nov. 24 and is scheduled to list on the equities exchange Dec. 17. Hartley Poynton is underwriting the public offer.
