You'll remember that 98 of the Fortune 100 companies use Citrix product and 80% of the Fortune 500 companies do. But that doesn't tell us anything about usage.

I just learned in the Fool's Citrix folder that Investor Relations puts out some fascinating numbers that puts all of that in perspective. Apparently they peg the desktop penetration in those customers at only 5%. If that's the case, the opportunity for massive growth far above and beyond the past success is immense.

In gorilla-gaming terms, that information along with the growth of revenue confirms for me that we haven't seen the start of the tornado yet. On that basis, it's still too early to be an owner of Citrix stock, but I bought it before the book came out and won't sell it.
