motherWartofHog, "bdog, the mother of all scans is the goal.... how about a scan (indicator) that flags stocks up 30% during a 5 day period, then try and determine all the criteria that were present at the beginning of that period. yikes.. lots of work.. " full circle here, lol. that was what the common key (comkey) was/is all about. take the 3RSI scan just posted, I bet 1/2 of the hits did just that. the trouble is when you reverse engineer it you get output that "fits" that group and doesn't work as well on future (or even back) issues. but i wont give up. heck, the mighty milesov scan rocks because fundov loosened the criteria a bit and takes on some bad hits to weed out along with the good... so... here ya go... if you can drum up a scan that hits the paste, i'll buy you a case of red hook...>g< open the lab doors and let the fun begin! bpastedog
