Yeah, it makes sense.....even the shiff line because I have seen that technique in other forms of analysis. Matter of fact I did one last year or early this year to try to determine where the top would be in

Hmm, just found the chart as a matter of fact, I did it in October and had the top as around 1280. It did hesitate at 1280 between November and December before advancing.....so I don't know if the technique was right or not. I probably should have drawn another line from the December lows but by then I had moved on to something else.

I saw where Hal's fork stopped the upmove. Or appears to have. According to the fork I tried on PC Quote the upper tine is 1390.40, presuming I did it correctly.

Appears we should change the name of the thread to

"Forks, they aren't just for meals anymore"

Okay, I did something wrong. Tried to pull upHal's page and it shut down.

I'll give it another try.
