Eulogizing Chalem at his funeral in Hackensack yesterday, Rabbi Andre Ungar recalled that Chalem played four years of football at the University of Miami in Florida. ''Another chance to prove his mettle, his manliness," added Pat Tarantino, one of his closest friends. From the Asbury Park Press today: Also yesterday, Stuart Bockler, the principal owner of the International Market Advisors, Inc., of Marlboro, accused Lehmann and Chalem of using his copyrighted business analyses on its Web site and sending it out on bulk e-mailings without his permission. Bockler's lawyers are preparing a cease and desist order against the Web site operators to either take the Web site down, or delete his analyses, he said. But, Bockler said, "We don't know who are the survivors of the company." While Bockler said that he learned following the deaths of the Lehmann and Chalem that his recommendation is posted on the Web site, he had learned earlier this year that an analysis of his had been mailed out, but he was unable to trace the source. And on Oct. 12 or 13, he learned that StockInvestor.com was mailing out his reports without his permission. Bockler's reports are available online for a fee. "They seem to have built a business built on plagiarism of legitimate reports," Bockler said. injersey.com So Bockler claims he didn't know the Stockinvestor.com connection until October 12 or 13? Quite interesting considering Joseph Charles & Associates knew of the connection back in May and even posted the link here on Silicon Investor! Joseph Charles & Assoc., Inc., is interested in contacting individuals who are, or have been, investors in Global DataTel (GDIS). We are also interested in speaking to individuals who have personally contacted Global DataTel or it's public relations department and whose conversations with the company included any confirmation or acknowledgement of the financial claims made in reports distributed by IMC Advisors (IMCAdvisors.com) or Stock Investor (StockInvestor.com) Message 9614068 Considering Joseph Charles was doing a full-scale legal investigation into the Bockler/IMA reports on GDIS, I find it very unlikely Bockler was unaware of the Stockinvestor.com involvement. Did Bockler lie to the Asbury Park Press? If so, why? I suspect Joseph Charles and Associates might have a few ideas... - Jeff
