If you sent them outside without any cloths on, then you wouldn't have to deal with the cold wet cloths.

morning Neenny. Hope you got things ready!!!!!!! S is coming on Wednesday they say. Don't know if it will be lake effect. the Lake's temps. are still about 55°, surely, that will keep it rain here while you get blanketed at least. Heavy wet stuff. pretty when it sticks on the trees, but after the cars and S plows make everything brown, all you want is a fresh covering. Little rain here right now, but still yard working. Most is evaporating as it hits the ground, so no big deal. Yesterday was absolutely perfect.
