Yes.

I do not really understand this stuff but I know Parkash has talked about NMGC chips having MPEG decoders. I got the following from the article you posted,

Then, they squeeze the data down with a set of chips called encoders and store it on a hard disk drive in a format called MPEG-2. When a user wants to watch a recorded program, the data goes through another specialized chip called that decompresses the data for display on a TV screen.

As I said I do not understand this stuff and this could be totally unrelated to NMGC, but it sounds like NMGC could become a player in this field if they are not already. Could this be one of those large consumer market potential that they talk about, for their chips?
