I try to project next year's profits, not buy it based upon last year's.

But, for goodness sakes, that was just one of the many perspectives that should be assumed when evaluating a stock. Taking into account the various factors of past performance, resources, and stability I'd expect Intel and AMD to be selling at about the same price per share (and I'd rather see AMD rise to equal Intel at, say, 100, than see Intel go down).

But I am no analyst, so take my opinions with lots of salt <- Hey, I wonder if Paul will agree with me on that last one?
