It sure sounds like Wi-LAN is trying to take a seat at the Qualcomm table. Does anybody with technical knowledge have insight into the relationship between Wi-LAN patents and W-CDMA?

Can't answer that question, but I do have another. Wi-LAN seems to be saying that only W-CDMA infringes, rather than both CDMA2000 and W-CDMA. If this is true, will it push the Europeans (you all know how they cringe just thinking about paying more royalties) toward CDMA2000 and away from W-CDMA?
