Is it any wonder you picked your company? You stand to benefit in one form or another from these donations. Is it any wonder you picked your company as the one to receive the 'donations'? The internet database reveals you are the president of this company, therefore you have a vested interest. Do the parties who are donating know you stand to make a financial gain? ARe they aware of a potential tax write off you may receive? (I don't know how canadian taxes work, but you should disclose this relationship prior to accepting any donations).
