I can't see intel trying to sabotage NSIL's relationship with ARM. NSIL's market cap is only 170 Million. If intel, with a market cap of 256 Billion, thought that NSIL was any kind of threat they could buy them out. Any tampering with the ARM-NSIL agreements could lead to lawsuits; IMO intel would not want to have any part in that.

A more real threat is that intel is now a competitor which could cut into NSIL's sales if they do not remain competitive. But that is business. Intel must have seen a large enough market to become interested in it, which should mean more than enough sales for NSIL.
