Although I have no perceived, pressing need of reading about Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, or Ovid's Philemon and Baucis, I commend you and your correspondent for attempting to divert the topic from visions of aboriginal assimilation or annihilation.

When all is said and done, however, I'm sure you would agree it's a pity this thread doesn't stay closer to its topic.

Regards,

Tony

Once again I must bow to your superior knowledge. If I misquoted I am sorry. The reference both in the marketing course that I did more than 30 years ago was only fleeting, and also in my memory. If his name was ever mentioned I don't even recall. Certainly I have no intent to try to interpret him on such scanty background.

Regretfully reading for pleasure is no longer , it's just too much of a strain.

My daughters and grandaughters thrive and fully expect to progress to the higher planes of education that they have been raised to expect. All of them have already done some travelling too, which delights me because it is such an educational experience.

Nice to hear from you again.

To the rest of you I apologize for being so persistently off topic.

Cheers
