Dear Colleen, I hope your meeting with your clients went well. John 1 6: There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7: The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8: He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. In Luke 1 it says that he (John) will be filled with the Holy Spirit while he is in the womb and this happened when Mary arrived at Elisabeth's home. I think that this was necessary for him to be a witness or to bear witness of the light. I think it was Jesus that filled him with the Holy SPirit from Mary's womb. Luke 1 13: But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14: And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15: For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
