Yes, I remember you saying that and many of us have seen it too, the point I was making is it was broader based than I think most of us realised. I am not talking about small caps either. I was looking at stocks that are "leaders" in their industries and were added to the sector indexes. You also have to take in consideration that since these sector indexes are often doctored to look good that they were planned to only go up <ggg>.

What is really scary is despite the rally and some of them basing nicely for extended periods of time, instead of rallying with the market. Most only made pimple sized moves or else actually dropped like they needed to be sold to get the money to fuel the rally in the other stocks.

I just got an interesting e-mail with a very plausable reason for this rally and why it might continue but I am awaiting permission to post it here. Basically this may be a flood of cash coming in from overseas since we are seen as Y2K compliant and a safe haven. The interesting part of it was what the "smart money" might do in reaction.
