RE>>You know herpes, smallpox, polio, meningitis, hepatitis, yellow fever, measles, mumps, leukemia . . .??? Noah and company must have been one sickly bunch. << I don't think they were sickly at all. I do know that as man invents new cures for disease yet more crop up. It is not possible for man to conquer death because God has cursed him with it. Also... concerning the " preservation of disease" I do not know ! I have not been given that ! I only have what God has Given me : I do know however that we can think ourselves wise only to become fools. 1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. I do not know how many men I have met who had all sorts of fancy arguments about things microscopic who when the chips fell down had to admit that they both believed in God and the Resurrection ! The bacteria are of little import in the face of such weighty things. Another thing I might add is that the kingdom of God is not a matter of intelligence.. Otherwise all the Geniuses would be saved and the Idiots would not ! Heaven is not gained by the flesh ! : John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. You seem quite bright to me.. that may be a shame. Your best friend in the end may be your worse enemy ! Trust me with this one: 1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: I believe in the end of the matter Solomon "who played more than ye or me" said this : Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. God can kill and God can make alive whosoever HE WILLS This one is for you CC: Straight from above !! 1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
