Paul: I am not seeing your point here.
In your reference to Dresden "BEGIN K7 production on 0.18 ,micron/Copper process in Q399 " based upon the Annual Report:
<Meanwhile we must bring a new megafab in Dresden - Fab 30 - on line to build the most sophisticated product in our history employing the most advanced technology we have ever developed. We plan to commence the migration of AMD K-7 production to Fab 30, employing 180-nanometer technology with copper interconnects, next quarter. We believe this technology will enable production versions of the AMD K-7 running at clock speeds of one gigahertz or more by the end of next year.>

Where does this say "Production in Q399"? Are you trying to say that "commencing migration" is same as "Production"? Production means ship for revenue. in last CC Jerry said Q2 2000. This is a nice timetable that has been on the Dresden web site for a long time. This could be stretched to saying shipping for revenue in Q1 2000. Jerry further said high volume in 2H2000 from Dresden. I believe the first factory depreciation hits Q12000.

If this a delay, so be it. However, "commencing migration" being "production" is just more than a teeny weeny stretch. Don't you think?
