I had an alert set at about 3/4 for some stock that was selling for somewhere around a dollar one day. I hadn't done much DD on it but I would have if it had slowly came down to my alert. Well it dropped to about 5/8ths real fast and I put a buy order in and then started to look into it. It didn't take me but a few minutes to see that I didn't want any thing to do with it but I had already bought it by the time I got back to my brokerage account so I put a sell order in for 1/4 higher and it sold within an hour or so. LOL...so I made $1250 and only held it for a couple of hours. That's the only time I ever remember buying a stock that I hadn't looked at very closely. Then theres the ones that I think are great and I end up holding them for months to make a 16th off of.
